A Two Foot Expansion

A about 9 weeks ago Dave and I embarked on a 2 foot expansion..... two teeny tiny feet...

That's right! Sonia is going to be a big sister!!! We are all really excited about this new chapter and looking forward to meeting the nibblet already!

BUT, this also means back to being tired, bloated, sore and nauseous. Back to very regular pokings and proddings by doctors..and random passers by that just need to feel my belly...

Oh well. It's all for something SO AMAZING in the end. Nothing in life can be so painful, so exhausting, so overwhelming and so WORTH IT!!!

I love Sonia with my whole heart and am SO excited as I look forward to my heart growing more room for Baby Number 2.

Ok. 

So I was snowed in today but tomorrow...

I will leave my house. 

And I will write an interesting post. 

And I will probably freeze to death in the Victoria tundra like the Iceman.

But you should anticipate tomorrow.

I know I will.

So this morning I wake up thinking it's going to be another lovely day filled with sunshine and happiness. However, at some point last night I must have been teleported to the North-Freaking-Pole.

THIS is what I woke up to.

Seems that this guy wasn't mentally prepared (or actually prepared) for snow either. Yes that is my neighbor shoveling his stairs. And yes, he is using a dustpan.

Oh my goodness. They are the same person.

This is my dad and my nephew Kyle (who I got to see this weekend!!!). Kyle is the spitting image of my dad at that age. It was wierd seeing them together.

Cutest little guy ever. 

Sadly though, I don't have much hope of him being cute when he gets past 50. (see below image)

Just kidding. He will be cuter than this...and less red. 

Tumblebums!!!

Today, Sonia and I had SO MUCH FUN at tumblebums in Goldstream to celebrate Carston's first birthday!
My little bean ran and ran and ran and played and screamed and jumped and laughed and climbed and tumbled over blocks...

The bubbles were the main event. They blew her mind.
The only thing that would have made it better would be a Penny and a Kimmy!!!!!
