The Milestone I Hoped Not to Reach...

I had Sonia at 36 weeks and 3 days.

Today I am 36 weeks and 3 days.

I was hoping to not meet this 'milestone'.

I took drastic measures.

CASTOR OIL IS ATROCIOUS.
If you were wondering...

As of tomorrow, at 5:59am I will be more pregnant than I have ever been in my life.
As of 6am tomorrow morning I am going to be taking the baby evacuation MUCH more seriously.

Remove yourself now Kalyn.
Your curfew is SO on the line kiddo.

(I write this amidst contractions that I have been 'enjoying' for the last 7 weeks...please please PLEASE let this be over soon.)

36 weeks

If this were Sonia, she would be born in a day or two...

But if this were Sonia, I wouldn't have been having contractions for over a month...

(33 weeks and 2 days)

So little Kalyn....

...get out before you over stay your welcome my dear daughter...

Where I've Been For Two Weeks

Victoria General Hospital

Two Weeks

5 Rooms

4 Roommates

Uncountable Non-Stress Tests

I was admitted on the 27th because I was cramping and tightening a lot. I was given medicine to stop preterm labour and steroids to help her lungs develop faster. Not so fun (steroid shots hurt. i don't know how body builders do it.). So I was in for two weeks of facebook/internet rehab, naps and LOTS of TV series on my computer.
They sent me home yesterday because I hit 34 weeks, which means I'm far enough along that they aren't totally worried if I go into labour now (especially thanks to the steroids).

Now, this baby has overstayed her welcome since I've basically been in labour for three weeks.

Get out...

Get out...

Get out...
