Fourteen Weeks, 26 to go...ish

Holy macaroni....

I'm not sure if this is going really, really fast or really, really, REALLY slow..

I'm kind of thinking SLOW.

I figured that once I left the first trimester that I would have all the energy in the world and everything would be awesome.

WRONG

I may have my energy back...a little... but along with the second trimester I welcomed headaches and dizziness...sore back and short temper. My pants don't fit and my maternity clothes are too big. 

arghhhh

I think all I need is a cook, a maid, a nanny for Sonia and a different pair of sweatpants for each day of the week. Or maybe just a nap......

I`m really also starting to feel really trapped in this house! I don`t have a lot of friends here in Victoria and the ones I do have, for the most part, are at work or school during the day and can only hang out when I`m so tired I can`t think straight. I don`t remember it being this hard when I was pregnant before!!! 

Is it really like this all the time or maybe  I just forgot and looked back at my first pregnancy with rose coloured glasses....

...either way....come visit. I`m bored.

Weekend in Vancouver...

A beautiful and extremely rainy weekend in Vancouver!

On Friday we got to meet BEAUTIFUL little Sayeh!  My friend Carly brought her little 7 week daughter over for the day and dinner. It was SO good to meet her finally and to cuddle such a precious little bean!!!

On Saturday we drove over to my aunt`s house for the day to welcome her, my grandma and my mum back from Vietnam, Laos and Thailand! They had a blast and had a TON of gifties and souvenirs for all of us (especially Sonia). 

But, even with all the gifts, Sonia still just wanted to play with ...Charlie`s bear...

And all that at 12 weeks fat. 

I am so ready to be done with the overwhelming exhaustion and the nausea... bleh. 

Bring on the second trimester!!!

A Big Week For Sonia

Sonia had a pretty big week already!

...I know it's only Tuesday but we have accomplished two 'firsts' already!...

First time playing/chasing/getting-knocked-over-by GOATS!

...also her first trip to a petting zoo!...

I thought since she is afraid of trees that this wouldn't go so well, but it was a BOOMING success even after she got owned by a playful goat.

Beacon Hill Children's Farm is a great place to check out right now! They have a few baby goats and more on the way!

 (By baby goats I mean adorable little fuzzy balls of love that I'm pretty sure I am going to have to steal next time I'm there...)

Sonia's First Slumber Party!

Cutest. Sleepover. Ever.

On Tuesday night Kim dropped of Penny at our place for Sonia and Penny's first slumber party! 

They were HILARIOUS.

Sonia kept chasing Penny to give her hugs and kisses, while Penny kept trying to put Sonia in the toy cupboard. 

The next day Kim and I tested out the new/used double stroller Dave and I picked up...

...we decided that we HAVE to get rid of it...

...at least they looked cute in it!
