How many times can I say, "Let go of the cat. You are hurting her!" ?
How many times can I say, "Don't hit your sister!" ?
How many times can I say, "Stop whining and talk nicely!" ?
How many times can I say, "Do you need a time out?" ?
How many times can I say, "STOP SCREAMING!" ?
How many times can I say, "Do you have to go pee?" ?
How many times can I say, "Gentle!" ?
sigh.

I'm not a mother and yet I still find myself saying those same phrases every day...except for maybe the one about the cats...
